What does death look like?

,

Yesterday was Halloween, and I went trick or treating! (Walked for 10 miles) Halloween is originally for the dead (meaning: skeletons, ghosts, vampires, the walking dead) to rejoice with their family or just have fun on the “human world” again on October 31st.

During trick or treating, I saw a lot of ghost statues, witches face sculptures, and large plastic toys that make cackling shrieking noise. But all of these don’t include the actual death. They’re simply so mysterious!

Today during music workshop at school, our music teacher showed us Halloween classical pieces written by famous song writers like Mr. Saint Saëns. I start to wonder more what death looks like.

In movies, it’s often a headless or skull-head creature with a dark black cape and an axe, but I’m pretty sure that no one has seen death to know what they look like. Everyone think that death is related to the color black and unpleasant things, but maybe death is a cute little baby doll. Who knows?

Another thing I wonder is what does it feel like when death approaches you. Does it feel like a gust of wind? What do you see before you die? Would death be nice and let you recap your life flashcards or would they just take you away? We all know that a lifeless body looks serene and feels cold and breathless and rather pale, but that is just on the outside.
